The History of Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement Fiji Mission Field.

Fiji islands is located in the South Pacific and is geographically dissected by the International Dateline and has over 300 islands in the group that has  a multiethnic population of different races such as: Fijians, Indians, Melanesians, Polynesians, Micronesians, Asians, Africans and Europeans. There are 14 provinces with a population of approximately over 800,000. All speak in their different languages and dialects  but English is the official language.

Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement (SDARM) message made contact in the islands of Fiji in 1974.  The message was reintroduced and SDARM established in 1997 when an interest contacted the church in Australia and asked for assistance. Missionaries from the AUC conducted canvassing work in Fiji and made further contacts with interests there. The AUC reps later returned in October 1998, for the baptism of 30 souls. The church was also registered in the same year.  

Today it has an organised church at Koronivia, Nausori which is 20 mins from the capital city Suva whilst we also have 3 groups worshipping in the highlands at Nadrau, Nanoko and Wainibuka in the main island of Viti-Levu.  

A new church is being planned to be built soon through a Fly and Build project that is to be initiated by the General Conference (GC).
