The History of Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement - New Caledonia Mission.
The Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement (SDARM)arrived in New Caledonia in 1984. Since then, the work has progressed permitting the construction of the church in the island of Mare.
Since 1984, The New Caledonia Mission was connected to the French Polynesia Field; however, it became a mission connected to the GC in 2012. Since December 2013 the mission became part of the South Pacific Union Mission.
New Caledonia has 280,000 inhabitants divided in 3 provinces, namely, the North Province, the South Province and the Loyaute Islands Province. Only the North Province is still yet to be reached by our message.
At the moment, we have one church in Noumea and another one on the island of Mare.
One of the purposes is to build a church in the mainland in the city of Noumea but our finances do not allow us to do it.
I’d like to thank the Lord for the creation of the South Pacific Union Mission in order to help brethren and sisters from New Caledonia.
