Special offering for Solomon Island Field Mission​

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
 
Greetings in the name of the Lord.
 
Psalm 33:5 “He loveth righteousness and judgement: the earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.”
 
I do Hope that this correspondence finds you in good health in all aspects of life. Even though we’re faced with many challenges, we’re blessed that we have our great God who supplies our needs.
 
The executive committee of the South Pacific Union Mission (SPUM) of the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement (SDARM) have meet and identified the needs in the Union. We believe, that as a union, we can work together with whatever we have to assist one another. In light of this, we are proposing that the various fields and church must set aside the last Sabbath of every Month starting in March, 2018, to take a special free-will financial offering appeal within the SPUM region. The various fields are humbly requested to arrange and facilitate this request in their respective fields and the offerings are sent to SPUM accordingly.
 
We have a pressing need in the Solomon Islands that will require our financial assistance to assist the Solomon Island Field to secure a land and build a Church. Our first free-will offerings will be directed specifically for this purpose.
 
Please help us meet the needs of our church family in the Solomon Islands by freely donating via your various fields.
 
This humble request is in harmony with the experience from Bible history as recorded in –
Exodus 25:2; Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring Me an offering: of every man that giveth it willingly with his heart ye shall take My offering.”; AND
“Exodus 36:3 “..And they brought yet to him free offerings every morning.”
 
 Furthermore, by the pen of inspiration states:
“The people came, everyone whose heart stirred him up, and everyone whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering to the tabernacle of the congregation.” – PH135 8.4.
