The History of Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement - VANUATU Mission Field

The Seventh Day Adventist Reform Movement (SDARM) message came to Vanuatu through our brethren from Australia. A family came to Vanuatu in 2002 for holidays and on Sabbath they visited an independent church on Sorovanga (Black sand). After the church service they shared the gospel about SDA Reform Church and what they believe and we gave our contact details. Due to this interest missionaries were sent from (SDARM) Australia to Vanuatu and gave the message on the History of the church stating why, how and what were the reasons for the separation. Fellow brothers took up their stand and join the church. Brethren from Australia continued to come and took bible studies. Three brothers were baptised and the church was organised in 2002. We praise God the work has spread to four other islands, churches have been build for worship and people have been converted to the truth.

There are 6 churches in Vanuatu. Two Churches are located on Efate, which Port Vila City is and where the SPUM SDARM headquarter is. One at Pladinier Estate close (only 4 minutes) to the airport and the other at Eratap road going to Teuoma, 20 minutes drive from Port Villa town. The other churches are located Dendum in Epi Island, Lavalsal and Unua in the Island of Malakula and Naone in Ambae Island.

First quarter of 2018 Port Vila Church Highlights

These are some highlights from the Port Vila Church during the last Sabbath of the first quarter of 2018 Sabbath school program. The Sabbath School leader of 2018 initiate an idea, which to involved everyone in the sabbath school to become part of the program. It started with youths including children's program and will end it up with sabbath school fathers program. So it is a very blessed sabbath to be part of this program and looking forward to be part of more to come until we can spend together as one whole family of God in the earth made new, which is our main focus and goal in this christian journey.
